The beauty of paradox

Good list to carry with you all day, every day.

The beauty of paradox is that you can think and see things that few think and see.

My definition of paradox is that there are two ends of a spectrum.

One end is the status quo and the other is a dark and lonely place no one visits.

The dark and lonely place is my favorite.

Why?

Because breakthroughs reside there.

What if every step we take is “Church”?

Go the extra mile

Disney University hallway
World-class Customer Service reputations are earned, maintained, and improved day after day, for decades.

Go the extra mile.

Right now, i guarantee you can easily and quickly name at least two reasons why going the extra mile is a flawed proposition.

Why then, do we hold tightly to the belief system that exalts this as the only choice for world-class customer service?

Life is unfair paradox

World record blog posts from a single author
Yesterday, February 2, 2019. Tallied the number of published blog posts: 19,057. That number grows by 5 every day, so today’s new total is 19,062. This current number is 1,850 more than the current world record.

Life is unfair has a paradox.

Many, including me at one time, falsing perceive that life is unfair – that life is fairer to some and not as fair to others.

The paradox is this:

Life is fair in that it is unfair to everyone.

Everyone is going through a hell no one else knows about.

Is it your goal or your reward?

Is it your goal or your reward?

What?

Money.

And peace of mind.

On the edgy side of Christmas

anger
Anger serves no one. Surrender and forgiveness serves everyone. Tweet screenshot from yesterday (Christmas Eve).

Which is more egregious?

Someone thinks, “You’re too busy to come visit me.”

Someone thinks, “You’re too poor to come visit me.”

One has plenty of time but little finances.

One has plenty of money, but little time.

Bottomline, neither sees the other.

One offers, year after year, to pay for the other’s travel expenses.
