If i could, spirit

Few Know Peace & Contentment Better Than These Two
Few know peace & contentment better than these two.

Spirit…

If i could pray well, serve well, and teach well…

Perfect.

So i dedicated, and continue to dedicate, my daily efforts to pray well, serve well, and teach well.

Praying for Earth, spirit

Artemis II is returning to Earth after sending humans farther from Earth than ever before in history.

Artemis II traveled around the Moon and lost contact (it was planned for) with NASA for a brief period.

Extraordinary accomplishment in human history.

And as i type this (4:20pm April 7, 2026) we are three hours and 40 minutes from our President’s Iranian-peace-deal deadline.

Praying without ceasing.

Every breath is prayer.

Always.

And especially now.

Two week countdown, spirit

Husband and wife hug at airport
Photo: Chapin Noel, August 2009 at Orlando International Airport. Heading to Finland for the 2009 Master’s Track and Field World Championships. i flew through Paris. First time i ever saw airport security (anywhere) with AK-47s. Also, it was terrifying for me to navigate Paris’ airport to find my connecting flight to Helsinki. Note: Family stayed home.

Flying Internationally in two weeks for the first time with Cheryl will be an adventure.

And leaving an extra day early takes pressure off for the flight day to go smoothly.

Food for Families 2018
Since 1999 we’ve volunteered every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter mornings. The exceptions are when we visited family in Pennsylvania. Somewhere around 2018+- we discontinued this Family tradition.

We imprinted ‘helping those less fortunate’ three times a year as our son went from diapers to High School.

The places and people we met while delivering food boxes are different from the places and people we know.

There is no class or video that remotely compares to seeing and feeling things with your own two eyes and heart.

Purge like you mean it, spirit

Purge: To rid, clear, or free.

Spiritually.

Going through a lifetime of Disney paperwork, still.

Have done it many times, over my life.

Similar to the physical ‘paper logs’, there isn’t much spiritual paperwork. This too feels freeing. As if the unknown gamble paid off.

Love that i had deep faith in the concept of purging “stuff”.
