Grateful for intense adversity

Saint Roy. Roy came out of retirement after Walt died in 1966. Roy stood here in 1971 to deliver the dedication speech.

Grateful for intense adversity.

The timing is always bad, but the opportunity is always golden.

Especially in hindsight.

Trust that what feels awful, and impossible, is a rare gift.

Your two choices are simple.

Embrace and maximize the opportunity.

Resist and loose the transformational opportunity of lifetime.

Let the first thing be

Let the first thing be, upon awakening, thank you.

So cliche.

Say thank you to start your day.

Up to you.

Proud of you for the way you honor such a simple, initial, daily habit and ritual.

TGIF or TGIGF?

TGIGF: Thank God It’s Good Friday!

How cool is that?!

37 years + 4

Cheryl and jeff noel
Love looks like this.

Cheryl has been retired from a 35-year Disney career for five weeks.

Covid-19 would be consuming her if she was still a Disney Executive.

Now, we consume ourselves managing our lifetime of sowing – a harvest that is new for us: control of what and when we do things.

We are not panicked with Covid-19 even though we are on a pension and my business income has evaporated.

Covid-19 blessings?

pinterest image
Never stop learning because life never stops teaching. Last night at bedtime, stumbled upon an email from Pinterest.

Covid-19 blessings? Yes.

Self-reflection, large scale.

Common purpose, large scale.

Rethinking supply chains, large scale.

Creativity unleashed, large scale.

Questioning current and dormant priorities, large scale.

Best time to be doing this self-reflection was 10 years ago, second best time was five years ago, and the third best time is now.

Go for the bronze medal.

Better late than never.
