We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.

Why would you not?

Glacier National Park…random photo choice for this post.

Why would you not pray first thing upon awakening?

Why would you not say Grace or an equivalent before every dinner?

Why?

Do any of your reasons sound legit?

If you do both of these with world-class consistency, do any of your reasons “for” sound illegitimate?

Doing the right things right

Anything more important than balancing your mind, body, spirit, work, home?

Doing the right things right.

Seems so obvious.

There’s a perverse reality that many are doing the wrong things right.

In a distracted, medicated, and entertained world, we are severely inadequate at carving out self-reflection time.

To thine own self be true?

Not if we don’t know our priorities, our values, and our purpose.

Seems so obvious, but it isn’t.

You know exactly what i’m talking about.

Congrats on working diligently to over-focus on your priorities, values, and purpose.

Present

#6 i wish i had been more present, mindful, and intentional.

Who’s the most present, mindful, and intentional person you know?

Congrats, because i know you said you are.

This is progress.

Big shoes to fill

Big shoes to fill.

What?

My office bookshelf is filled with Walt Disney inspiration. There are a few Steve Jobs, Glacier National Park, and Seth Godin items too.

And then there’s little old me.

An insignificant army of one.

What will we do with our remaining time on Earth?

Big shoes need to be filled by somebody.

Why not you?

Especially if you can have fun doing it and if it doesn’t feel like work.
