What happens next is we spend the rest of our lives in a (self) pity party.

Why do we never think today could be our last day?

Is it too intense?

Too real?

Too scary?

To absurd?

Today (which is actually 9/11) I’m flying.

It was 12 years ago today that some folks did not even bother to kiss their loved ones goodbye because they were going through the motions, and in a hurry to get somewhere.
