What does it profit us if we gain the world but lose our soul.

Balance right?

This is challenging living under the conditioned response that more is better.

We already have more, yet push it aside.

I’m going to work hard all day to cling to all we have already.

Dear Son, humbled at the blessings that pile up, but didn’t have it smack me in the face until yesterday’s lunch. The husband, and father of two teens, has worked off and on only 1/3 of the past three years.

Currently working part time, he’s likely to be unemployed soon. The fear of another recession eats at his psyche. In some ways, he’s a prisoner. Have been praying ceaselessly for him.
