Spiritually at Sea all day again, continuing NE to Disney Island

Out for a Family walk again yesterday, noticing the use of “please”.

Spiritually at Sea all day again today, continuing NE to Disney Island.

Yesterday’s Western Caribbean sun was hot midday so we retreated inside for lunch at “Cabanas”, the Deck 11 breakfast and lunch buffet.

An after-lunch nap and then a late afternoon walk was un-rushed and healthy.

The use of the word “please” on signage made me smile. As did the use of the circles on the touchpad screen.

Yesterday morning we took a tender to shore and walked a mile along the (Western end) north shore and then returned.

Had to take a look at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.

Our large ship was one of four visiting yesterday.

Overheard seasoned cruisers sharing their distaste for the crowds.

A nice place to visit, we wouldn’t want to live there.

Island fever is a real thing.

It was impossible to not compare our ship with the others.

What i envisioned Cozumel to be and what we experienced yesterday were different.

Totally a tourist trap.

Flat as a pancake.

It reminded me of what Sanibel Island might have been like 75 years ago.

Watched this yesterday after lunch aboard the Disney Fantasy.

First ones in the Walt Disney Theater yesterday.

 

Spiritually in Cozumel 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Watched The Last Jedi at 12:30pm, yesterday after lunch at Sea.

Gave The Last Jedi a standing ovation.

It was that good.

While watching, had to jot down a thought from a line in the movie…

(Luke Skywalker) jeff noel is the last of the (Jedi) Disney Institute religion. Hope is like the sun. If you only believe in it when you can see it, you are through.
