It’s an Island. Where do you have to be? Set your alarm to “Now”.

Can you be on Island-Time anywhere, and anytime?

Yes!

Today’s downtown Allentown Brew-Fest is like an official Island Time reminder and invite.

The remarkable and fun part with Island Time – when you reach Pro level – is you need no reminders, no invites.

Every moment is my reminder, my invite.

Remarkable.

Fun.

True.

Fundamental American values are common sense driven.

Will today be remarkable and fun?

America has laws and principles that allow law-abiding US citizens to live a free life.

The key is for every citizen to bestow to others what they hope is bestowed to themselves, in the “Land of the Free”.

That was fun and remarkable to think and write just now.

Cheryl’s Dad, John J. Zubek, Allentown, PA 2010

What will it be like to attend Cheryl’s 50th High School reunion?

The first time i visited Allentown was 1979.

My RA partner, Cheryl, got tickets to see comedian Steve Martin at the Allentown Fairgrounds.

This was the first time i met Cheryl’s parents.

Jim Bortner, left, was a good friend. He was an 880 runner. Coach put him in the 440 for some unknown reason.

Dedicated six teenage years to master the one-lap race.

The dedicated, passionate effort was a great life lesson. Didn’t know it at the time. But it’s clear now.

Doing the reps in a remarkable way produces, without a guarantee, remarkable results.

i think that’s called faith.

We are here to serve.

The High School (HS) Juniors traditionally serve the Seniors breakfast in the final weeks of the school year.

It was fun to “sneak” in as a parent and hang out for a few minutes. This only happens once for some some parents.

There’s no way as a HS Senior i could have ever fathomed the parental milestone HS graduation brings to parents.

At 60, now i get it.

It’s a big deal.
