The spirit of my over-focusing at the exotic lunch turned out to be highly noticed.

Last night Ben and i had a few hours of quality time together and during our conversations, it randomly came up…

Ben told me it inspired him.

What?

The fact that i acted so intentionally to prepare – the day before the speech – to be at my best state for the speech delivery.

Everyone you encounter can teach you something valuable.

i gave Ben a gift.

He gave me one too.

Praying i don’t get handled by a savvy salesperson.

Spend a lifetime in sales and you can become amazing convincing. You may also stay mediocre…time doesn’t equate to excellence, but it can.

What the buyer cannot tell from initial phone calls, emails, and one physical meeting is how much of the pitch is accurate and how much is inflated or hidden to make the offer the most compelling for the buyer.

Praying suits me.

i pray every day.

All day.

So this situation isn’t rare, it’s just different.

Disney Note Card — She lives 30 minutes from Disneyland.

Even if she says no, i’m grateful.

Her association has never paid for a Keynote Speaker.

Ever.

They generally use famous people who are part of their movement – these speakers “give back” because their lives were changed by the association.

So my fee seems astronomical compared to free.

Nothing short of a paradigm shift will make this work.

She and the September event organizing committee want a Disney Keynote Speaker, since their event is across from Disneyland at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Even if Rose and her committee “fail”, they have inspired me with their vision for change.

Daring to succeed comes with the territory.

So tomorrow’s hour will be out of my comfort zone because that’s what the client has asked for. They are auditioning two or three top candidates and deciding which one to hire.
