What i owe the world

From dust, to dust.

The universe has been around for billions of years, maybe more.

Billions.

Our life is so insignificant it’s not even funny.

As a person who has been alive for 6+ decades, i can definitely tell myself that in the blink of an eye, my life didn’t matter.

i can also tell myself my life did matter.

Hear me out.

The part that doesn’t matter is all of it.

The part that does matter is the effort i gave (give) to pay back the Universe for its gracious gift of the opportunity to spend a fraction of a second in its infinitely massive neighborhood.
