In the past, rejection used to define me.
Why?
Because i let it.
Because i thought that is how it’s supposed to work.
But solitude, self-reflection, teaching, writing, and focusing on being an example rather than a warning have allowed me to see, think, and do differently.
Now, i’m crystal clear on the opposite.
Rejection doesn’t define me, my reaction to rejection does.

His “Mamma”, a strict Baptist, finally came to a beautiful realization with her son, a genius.
After much parental struggle, she told her 10-year old son, “Seek your own truth.”
