In the spirit of personal development…

Ask these questions instead of the opposite, and traditional, questions adults ask kids and teens.

What did you disagree with today?

What did you fail at this week?

How would you solve this problem?

Great question. Why don’t you figure out the answer?

What would it take to do that?

How did you help someone today?

Of course Christians are hypocrites

What an amazing perspective. There is hope for humanity, right? PS. nb means non-binary.

Personally, i can not argue with this.

Humans (every last one of us) are perfectly imperfect.

Prevailing wisdom (aka common sense).

We love having a 17-year old in our home.

Keeps us honest.

Lets us see the world through eyes that aren’t concerned with ruffling feathers.

Honest.

Fair.

Questions everything.

Thought-provoking.

Of course Christians are hypocrites.

Why do you think God invented Churches?

When i returned to Disney, i never told another soul

Top Disney Institute Speakers
To teach is to learn twice.

Note: This post is inspired from a deep Father-Son conversation yesterday about the power of goals.

In the decade from 1999 to 2009, i began running and continuously improved my running using the business insights i taught at Disney Institute.

What began simply as a goal to achieve better health (cholesterol) metrics, slowly turned into an opportunity to see what was possible if i was willing to chase something impossible.

And i love, to this day, that i never told anyone at Disney Institute i was representing the United States at the Masters Track & Field World Championships in the M50-54 age group.

Okay, so two weeks before my “vacation”, i told my boss and one other person.

When i returned, i never told anyone else.

Goucher works hard to make everything move from theory to application.

Theory without action is a hallucination.

We all know this.

Now apply that to spiritual wellness.

We certainly have a spiritual accent to many others.

But we never notice our accent, only the accent of others.

Do you have an intellectual accent?

Do you have a spiritual accent?

You know, something you learned from your surroundings that in the bigger picture is false.
