Two Lodges and a Hotel were built between 1913-1915.

Going-to-the-Sun Road opened in 1932.

Note: Glacier Park Lodge opened 1913, Lake McDonald Lodge opened 1914, and Many Glacier Hotel opened 1915.

44-second video: Discovered a confounding WordPress challenge yesterday. It’s taken several hours to figure out. Whew! Without the snow-induced hike ‘disappointment’, this would not have happened. Figuring it would have bugged me the entire hike today. Now, i’m ready for a party instead. So grateful.
