Over-focused surrender

Midway through Lent 2025.

Christmas means nothing without Easter.

Easter means nothing without my personal commitment.

  1. How long will i forgive?
  2. How long will i be grateful for everything?
  3. How long will i surrender to what i cannot control?
  4. How long will i be helpful, kind, generous, humble?

Three weeks away, spirit

The decision to stop daily prolific blogging finally gives me peace for all the right reasons.

Over-focused travel, spirit

History mural on wall
Have seen this many times passing through the Atlanta airport, and walking (underground) between terminals instead of riding the train. Today, because i had buffer time as i walked, i stopped and read several history murals. Reading the quote near the top, i almost cried.

The Universe constantly offers information, lessons, tests, and so on.

When i’m at my busiest, i rarely notice.

This is why i began driving the speed limit. And why i prefer to walk.

Over-focused on being present by padding my ‘calendar’ with lots of extra buffer time.

This trip’s over-focusing facilitates The Universe’s constant offerings: information, lessons, tests, and so on. It’s fun to appreciate the ones i notice.

Spiritual progress

disney customer service speaker Jeff Noel
Making progress affords a unique peace that being stuck or stalled never offers.
42-second video: At emotional peace. Plus stillness. Plus quiet. Thoughts (and ideas) like this video arrive like a good friend.

Be comfortable being uncomfortable.

Make discomfort your comfort zone.

Being uncomfortable in a growth-mindset way is the path to peace and contentment.

Some uncomfortable questions:

  1. Why am i not living in constant peace?
  2. What makes me content and is it sustainable?

Shedding brings me peace.

Shedding relieves me of unimportant things i thought i needed to be content. The less i have, the more peace and contentment i can carry.
