Jimmy Carter believes Jesus would approve of Gay Marriage.
Why?
Because Jimmy…”believes Jesus would encourage any love affair that was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else. And i don’t see that Gay marriage damages anyone else.”
There’s an outward hate aimed at our LBGT community.
And when i say hate, it is a blatant hatred, proliferated mainly through social media channels.
How hatred for someone else, for any reason, ever became part of the Bible is beyond my comprehension.

Five days ago, Coach Williams (top left) and the WPS State Championship team and staff.
School has been back in session since Winter break for nearly two months. Our Son has yet to attend a track & field practice. The head coach is also an assistant basketball coach.
i’ve intentionally remained out of the situation with high hopes our teen could see this situation through to resolution.
Basketball season concluded last week with a first ever State Championship.
The track team has been practicing since January.
There is no field team, perhaps because there is no field coach.
This is from a school touting excellence as their DNA.
i remain patient and hopeful something nice will come from this delay.

Christians are so flawed.
i’m so flawed.
You’re so flawed, even if you’re not a Christian. Humans are flawed.
The Bible says marriage is between one man and one woman. This has been interpreted to mean any sexuality other than heterosexual is bad.
When married in a Christian Church, marriage vows include, “Until death do us part.” This is interpreted to mean divorce is only plausible with infidelity.
Does an American divorce rate over 50% get immunity from being “bad”?
To me, it seems gays, lesbians, and transgenders are wrongly targeted.
To be fair, shouldn’t the same level of distaste and contempt apply to divorce?
Am i the only one who seems the hypocrisy and injustice here?
Wouldn’t it make more sense to focus on love, compassion, and acceptance?
As long as love drives our life, isn’t everything else just a uniquely individual detail, that no human is qualified to judge?
