Is the Christian CPA tempted by money?

Met him yesterday and we spoke for two hours.

The initial thought in visiting his spacious office was the size of his overhead:

Real estate across the street from Universal Studios. A small staff of tax professionals and a receptionist, plus his salary.

Praying that he’s never tempted by money.

Can you trust our Government?

USPS mail hold
Three piles from three separate deliveries.

What does forgiveness and patience look like?

It looks like the ability to let things go.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offer a vacation mail hold. We had two weeks vacation with one day back in between, but asked USPS to hold everything until the end.

The pile on the left was in our box after the first week. The middle pile after the second week. Both piles were supposed to be held until the final day.

The third pile also wasn’t delivered on the final day. It was delivered two days late.

Epic failure.

Forgiveness and letting it go ultimately bring solace.

Everyone is fighting a hell know one knows about.

Here’s to hoping USPS gets through theirs.

And here’s to hoping you get through yours too.

Too busy to attend Church?

Florida Morning Glory wildflower
Morning. Glory. (on yesterday’s run)

Subway breakfast
After the run, a father/son bicycle trip for a Sunday Subway breakfast.

Too busy to attend Church?

Sometimes.

Praying it doesn’t become an easy habit to continue.

PS. The recipe for being at peace in a turbulent world is to make Church every step you take. Like helping your son exercise more.

Feeling overwhelmed is quite common

Sarcasm on Facebook
Yesterday, a friend’s FB update.

When we feel overwhelmed…there is no perfect answer, except this:

Be grateful you are alive to experience an imperfect world.

The picture is an excuse maker’s crutch.

Vibrancy is it’s own reward, no matter how long you live, or don’t live.
