Why is peace and contentment important?

We had $200 cash when we started our 17-day honeymoon bicycle trip. A few days into it: a Washington State Park wooden picnic table, a loaf of bread, a jug of peanut butter, and a few left-over marshmallows from the previous night’s campfire. Contented. At peace.
