For every million

Average hundreds of photos and videos daily while in the mountains. Or anyplace wild. Bad things rarely happen to people in the wild, but they do happen. Same in an HOA.

For every million dollars over the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) one-million dollar policy, it’s easy to figure out the financial liability.

$10,000.00 for each million dollars owed the defendant(s).

If the HOA is sued for $3,000,000, then the HOA must cover the two-million dollars the policy doesn’t cover.

Now, each lot owner’s liability increases to $20,000.00

In a litigious world, being sued for $10mil, or $20mil, could happen.

Let’s play out the lower $10mil scenario.

This is $90,000.00 per lot to cover the nine-million not covered by HOA insurance.

Disrespectful Religions?

The morning began with a three-mile walk with a High School buddy at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Vacation Club. Rene and i (along with Charlie H) were Tri-captains of our division-champion Football Team in 1976. Our “problems” are different, yet the same (lifelong).

Everyone feels the stress from two years of Covid. It’s February 20, 2022 as this is composed. We are possibly days away from “a Third World War” if Russia invades Ukraine. i always say that everyone is going through a hell no one knows about.

Those three things alone are enough to push anyone to the edge.

Life is hard.

Life is glorious.

We have to get to live with both.

Those who consider themselves a role-model for others – and possibly THE role model for society – are never permitted to be disrespectful to innocent, common, everyday citizens.

Yet why does so much noise come from some Churches?

Not having a proper answer is confusing.

We will rise together

A leader’s job is to envision a future not only better than now but much better than now.

Can you see the Windermere (Baptist) Lakeside Church harmoniously co-existing as a vital emotional-wellbeing island in a sea of residential communities?

i do.

My hyper-local dream is that everyone else does as well.

Thank God they mostly look like me.

If Windermere (Baptist) Lakeside Church wasn’t predominantly filled with people that look like me and believe what i believe, this would be ugly.

Racial, ethnic, and religious prejudice.

You can hear it a mile away if i wasn’t “one of them”.

But i am one of them.

Thank God they can’t accuse me of religious, racial, nor ethnic prejudice.

Church field setting up Christmas Eve eve concert stage. Music and PA system sound checks, rehearsals and performance went from 3pm -8pm. Neighbors brown roof next to stage and concert speakers.

Many years ago someone asked, “What do you do?”

The candid reply, “i preach the Gospel according to Walt.”

Meeting an “officially titled Pastor” would intimidate some.

Fortunately, this is not an issue in jeff-land.

Not now.

Perhaps 10, 15, or 20 years ago.

But not now.

Not at all.

This will be a feedback exchange/dialogue session. Both ways.

The neighboring Church sounds like a commercial entertainment business.

A chainlink fence is the only thing separating the business noise from our backyards.
