Cliches and sayings only become cliches and sayings because over time they are proven to be true. There’s a saying, “Good enough for Government work”. The insinuation is the Government’s standard for excellence does not exist. ‘Good enough’ is the standard. Taxpayers should be grateful the Governmental services are ‘free’.
