A final farewell

You owe yourself whatever you think you owe yourself. Otherwise, life and you are even.

A final farewell to what’s been a long, glorious run.

A long, glorious run of thinking about personal vibrancy.

It dawned on me that 15 consecutive years writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts is an insane legacy.

There is nothing more required.

Time doesn’t care

Office mailboxes
One last look (October 31, 2014) at my Disney Institute mailbox after a 30-year Disney career.

Disney Institute Cast Member “snail mail” mailboxes. At the last minute, had a creative idea to use Jack to honor the Disney ‘time’ conclusion. Thirty years is not even a blink in the Universe’s existence.

Time doesn’t know what a human being is. Nor does time know what a goal or dream is.

dad

You can’t be serious

You can’t be serious.

Right?

You’ve been writing five daily, differently-themed blog posts for how many years without missing a single day?

Yes.

Why?

Daily, balanced writing brings me peace and contentment.

Blog anniversary (not) in GNP, spirit

The world record for most blog posts by a single author is 17,212. i’ve written 10,000 more than that and each year 1,825 posts get added to my total.

dad

Five-a-day multiplied by 365 days per year equals 1,825 yearly blog posts.

Serving well is a privilege

Serving well is a divine privilege.

Humans are born to serve.

We are not born for a solitary life.

Humans would perish if we didn’t work together with others.

Serve others humbly.

It may be your greatest privilege.
