Spiritual surplus

To be able to work from anywhere at anytime can look like this.

The people we trust (or don’t trust) are generally the people we spend the most time with.

Consider family, especially if a family is actively engaged in shared values and experiences.

Trust is built, or broken, through shared time together.

Son, spending ample time with the source of your peace and contentment enables a trust that produces spiritual surplus.

The opposite happens when we rarely spend time (or ignore) preaching what we practice.

Son, actions speak louder than words.

Art is in the eye of the beholder

Changing the world is at the center of everything we do at Apple – Tim Cook

Dreaming is necessary if you want to change something.

Couple big things to consider before trying to change the world.

Yes or no?

i am the most peaceful and content person i know?

Perspective challenges truth

Oberlin (R) is nearly 600’ shorter than Clements (L). The difference appears much greater from this perspective.

Being outside and being spiritual, can they be one and the same?

Depends on your perspective.

Jesus often went away for solitude to think.

There’s something to getting away. Same with solitude.

When you talk with people who love getting away in solitude, ask why?

Impossible is nothing

Back to back solo Mt. Oberlin Summits a few days ago have prepared me to lead the group there this morning.

Last night’s Mt. Reynolds saddle hike was extraordinary.

A great prelude to this morning’s Mt. Oberlin group summit.

Change only happens when…

Traveling light. Only one Disney prop in my front pocket.

Time to descend and continue to the airport.

How lucky can you be on a Saturday morning?

You talkin’ to me?

Changing habits only happens when your habits change.

Until we decide to change, it ain’t ever gonna happen.

Change isn’t hard because it’s hard.

Change is hard because we hold too tightly to our existing habits.

Son, use this reality to triumph over all the stimuli that feeds not changing.

Finally, change is the only constant. Use this to embrace continuous improvement.
