Nature is the world’s largest Church

The saddle had three babies and three mommas.
Beautiful to behold.
i put these up so i could navigate down easily.
From the 8,200’ summit, you gaze at the Garden Wall and Continental Divide.

Nature is the world’s largest Church.

The more time i spend in the wilderness, the clearer this becomes.

Son, make being outside a priority.

Walking.

Running.

Sitting.

Thinking.

Luckiest Dad in the world is…

Looked good on paper, but i got spooked by the wind, solitude, and active (wildlife) time of day.
With a partner this would have been a perfect time.
No zoom was required.

Luckiest Dad in the world is…

Son, you get one guess.

Thank you for guessing knowing correctly.

It should look amazing in both

Small water trickles (foreground) lead to streams which eventually build to rivers and empty into the sea.
Almost invisible.
Close enough to touch.

Son, life should look amazing in both the closeup and the long shot.

Disney’s attention to detail has two tests:

  1. When you are close enough to touch something
  2. When you are so far away you can’t make out any real detail

Ponder this and how it can help you with personal vibrancy.

Devil in disguise

Life is the best daily party ever.
Tucked in luggage and read at airport yesterday.
Learned something new…you can drive to the airport from Rising Sun via Sun Road in just over two hours.
Just a silly moment in time. From here i drove 10 minutes to the Columbia Falls Library, where i spent the rest of the day.

Cards from Sanibel were purchased not knowing who’d receive them.

Son, you’ve opened three on this trip.

May your spirit to transform yourself continue to shine.

May your new-found understanding be your catalyst for the power you’ll need to fight the devil’s tempting voice, “Lighten up. Enjoy yourself. You shouldn’t have to do all this work now. You can do it later.”

The closer you get to truth, the more the devil wants a piece of you.

Life is fair

Logan Pass Visitors Center
Traffic is constant from West Glacier to Logan Pass Visitor Center. Small parking lot fills by 7:45 AM.
The most heavily trafficked trail and only a few hundred meters from one of the least trafficked trails. Photo: from the unknown trail.
Not a soul on our trail.

Life is fair in that it is unfair to everyone.

Accept this and do the best you can.

One person’s trash is another’s treasure and vice versa.
