Surrender.

Surrender means giving up.

Surrender is a super power.

You must surrender to things you cannot control.

You will eat yourself alive over your lifetime by obsessing over things you’ll never be able to change or influence.

Don’t eat yourself alive. Don’t kill spirit. Don’t kill your joy.

Surrender and forgiveness are biological twins. Not identical twins, but birthed from the same mother on the same day.

Both surrender and forgiveness set you free.

The main difference is that surrender is a gift you give yourself that does not directly nor simultaneously benefit others.

Whereas forgiving is a gift you give yourself and another, or others.

Forgiveness.

What water is to thirst, forgiveness is to frustration.

Forgiveness starts with self.

Self-forgiveness, when practiced, honed, and habitualized, finally becomes your crowning first-hand testimony to its freeing power.

When you know first hand the healing power of self-forgiveness, you are blessed to be able to freely, easily, and abundantly forgive others.

Forgiveness sets the forgiver and the forgiven free.

Gratitude.

Gratitude is underutilized, and commonly ignored as a superpower.

And yet gratitude is the most productive spiritual value.

Why so productive?

Gratitude focuses on a growth-mindset.

Because….things can always be worse.

(when i say ‘always’, please know there’s an exception to everything)

Try being unhappy when you are grateful.

i find it impossible to be unhappy when i am grateful.

So my top-priority, over-focused spiritual habit is gratefulness.
