1982 or ’83… Kamiak Butte in Eastern Washington State, not far from our WSU apartment. Possibly my favorite “selfie”. No idea how we photographed this with our cumbersome Cannon 35mm camera with a telephoto lens. {Ps. Selfie didn’t get invented until three decades later). Ps. This sits on my bedroom nightstand.

When we lived in Pullman, Washington in 1982-84, we visited Kamiak Butte on a regular basis.

Steptoe Butte was our other go-to.

Note: i drove Cheryl from Allentown to Pullman in August 1982. Had just completed a Summer work extension at Walt Disney World following my Winter/Spring College Program.
