Bad news last night, the traffic in every direction was gridlocked.

The good news is we were flexible and creative.

We changed our plan and quickly returned to the Marriott.

Hoping tomorrow that there will be no pain in the warmup. Generally, three miles slow jog, then two to three more miles of various intervals to ramp up to race speed. So yeah, about a six mile warmup to run 800 meters.

Keep me humble.

Keep us all humble, regardless of our endeavor.

And remember that humility doesn’t mean weakness.

About the Family that forgave the heinous murders at the Church.

A 14-year old doesn’t (and may never) understand that forgiveness is the only way to make a stand that frees the “victims” from bitterness and despair.
