Everything we do and say tells a story about what is at the center of our universe.
The challenge is that we judge our story based on our intentions, others judge our story based on our behaviors.
Big dif.
Huge difference.
And almost always in conflict with each other.
So may we be crystal clear on the center of our universe.
And may our behaviors (not our thoughts) be the kind of example that others aspire to emulate.

Shortly after becoming a professional speaker in 1999 there was a campaign for parishioners to volunteer their time, talent, and/or treasure.
We were already giving ‘treasure’, so becoming a Catholic Lector seemed reasonable.
What does this mean to anyone else?
Who needs our time, talent, and treasure more?
Our Church or our Family?
Perhaps the volunteering and donating could be for a family member instead of the Church?
Both?
Life is hard.
