Along the middle right edge is our back yard neighbor’s house. There’s a small pond in there too. The distance is astonishing. We are grateful for the distance. No idea what we did to be the grateful owner.

It’s challenging to find God on a full stomach.

We searched for seven years before we found, and bought, our two-acre Graceland.

We were hungry.

We wanted to live close to “work”.

We wanted to be within five minutes of Walt Disney World (work).

Mission accomplished.

But better than we could have imagined.

To find a two-acre empty lot…impossible.

It’s only impossible until you do it the first time.

Hunger drove us to Graceland.

Nothing against ’The City Beautiful’.

Fun to recall the original early-1980’s vision to move within five minutes of Walt Disney World. We were living on the Idaho-Washington State line when the vision was planted.

Can you get into the Disney Vacation Club?

Started my own Disney Vacation Club (DVC). We built a home less than a mile from Walt Disney World. When you change what you see, what you see changes.

The vision for our own DVC appeared while living in Washington State, in 1983.

In 1984, we packed what little had and drove five days across the Country. We slept in the car.

One night we pitched our tent next to the Wyoming Interstate (true story).

Living the dream.
