Along the middle right edge is our back yard neighbor’s house. There’s a small pond in there too. The distance is astonishing. We are grateful for the distance. No idea what we did to be the grateful owner.

It’s challenging to find God on a full stomach.

We searched for seven years before we found, and bought, our two-acre Graceland.

We were hungry.

We wanted to live close to “work”.

We wanted to be within five minutes of Walt Disney World (work).

Mission accomplished.

But better than we could have imagined.

To find a two-acre empty lot…impossible.

It’s only impossible until you do it the first time.

Hunger drove us to Graceland.

This is powerful and direct

Also last night.

You can’t believe in Heaven and be sad when people go there.

Said another way, how can you believe in Heaven and then be sad when someone goes there?

Said even another way, if you’re sad when someone dies, does that mean you don’t believe in Heaven?

Context: We must assume that the death is not unexpected, not a freak accident, nor some other unpredictable situation.

What is a thin place?

A place where Earth and Heaven blur together.

You can’t distinguish one from the other.

Maybe a stunning beach sunset.

Maybe an unexpected, random act of kindness bestowed on you.

Maybe a cure for something previously incurable.
