To think i could attend any social gathering and not drink alcolhol would have been ridiculous to think about pre-2000.

To think i could attend a party without sugary treats would also be ridiculous, but not until seven months ago.

What if a grandparent-type intentionally taught you about poor food and beverage choices, about habits and addiction, and about peer pressure and the alternative, non-conformity?

Be prepared for stormy weather.

Knowing these recordings were no longer “practice” caught me more off guard than i planned on.

The good news is that this uncomfortable position taught me something i didn’t know before.

Namely, the importance of moving forward no matter how you feel.

It would have been easier to cancel the whole day.

Because If Disney Ran Your Life is free (as of now), i have no obligation to deliver anything.

Son, remember the power in understanding the bigger picture.

Going the extra inch can be every step

Yesterday in an incoming text message.

Every step we take, every day, all day, can be our “Church”.

Small, seemingly insignificant gestures contain the DNA to convey love, compassion, surrender, forgiveness, gratitude, even healing.

Remember, please don’t let what you can’t do stop you from what you can do.
