Follow your energy

Nest Thermostats
As a leader, which one are you?

Follow your energy.

And as a leader, remember this important observation:

You either become the thermometer or the thermostat for your life.

If you’re the thermometer, all you do is measure the existing temperature.

If you’re the thermostat, you get to set the temperature you want.

A perfect example of surviving versus thriving.

Glacier National Park road plowing
Yesterday the Westside made significant progress. Eastside at Siyeh Bend, barely moved.

Our Continent divided

Pentacost
Three days ago – Happy birthday Church.

guns for sale in America
After Church we visited a couple Outdoor Recreation stores.

Our Continent divided.

No, i’m not talking about gun control.

Think Continental Divide.

Think Logan Pass.

Think Glacier National Park.

Think, “This is my last Summer on Earth, and i feel compelled to spend as much time here as possible.”

Meet at Church?

This morning.

Meeting at the Church.

Nature will be our Church this Saturday morning.

An hour walk.

With one of September’s travel companions.

PS. Update since writing this two hours ago – we both biked to the Church and then i biked a couple miles back to his house (to keep the conversation going) after our walk.

i climb this mountain…

Disney Keynote Speakers
Six months ago.

Why do you like Glacier National Park so much?

The initial reaction is, “i don’t know, i just do.”

Deeper dive, not relenting on the root reason.

“Glacier does something to me when i visit, and when i think about the memories and the future trips.”

What then?

Nature.

Nature imitates life.

Glacier has become like a familiar friend – someone i trust.

i climb this mountain…

To look through God’s window.
