Spiritually prayerful

mountain hikers
Church is every step. This is lost on nearly everyone. On this hike’s (picture here) six-mile descent, i built a small ice-bath hole/dam from a small, shallow, snow melt water creek. Why? To help someone who could barely walk hopefully regain the ability to walk another 5 miles downhill – icing his foot was literally our only hope at the time.

Love with your feet.

Love ’til you bleed.

Love like you mean it.

Do you start every brand new day on your knees in prayer?

This is a great place to start if you want to replace theory with action.

He’s My Son – music video

view from sitting in a kayak on a river
Church is just getting started. Note: The video below looks “broken”. It’s not…

You don’t have time to listen to the full song. Obviously i dont know but i do know the odds. Odds are low. The lyrics are stunning. Do it now. It’s the least you can do to say a prayer right now.

The kayaking trip was lovely.

We left the house early and returned 12 hours later.

Our spirit is all we have.

Please don’t waste it. Pretty please.

Note: The first video “is autobiographical”. The next one is for all the dads (and moms) with a different kind of parenting story.

Bonus music video, He’s My Boy.

PFA

What is PFA?

Pray from anywhere.

You can.

Who knew?

Note: That “who knew?” is silly (synonym: sarcastic). Why? Because everyone knows you can pray from anywhere.

Did you pray today?

Glacier National Park old Chalets
These Going To The Sun Road Chalets on St Mary Lake have been gone for 80 years. Praying for the gift to visit Glacier National Park this Summer.

Did you pray today?

Yesterday?

Two days ago?

Even if you don’t consider yourself “religious”, does it makes sense to be grateful?

Living in deep gratitude can be a prayer, even if it’s for something as simple and common as an individual day.
