We forget that turning around is often stunningly beautiful.

What we see depends, very simplistically, on where we focus.

There is beauty ahead in life as a retiree.

There is beauty in what has been left behind too.

Balance.

It has many meanings, including the source of our gratitude.

How’s is that even remotely possible?

After a decade of photographing Jack the Teddy Bear on world wide business trips for Disney Institute, the realization that Jack hadn’t ever been photographed at DI HQ was addressed yesterday.

He’ll go back again today, Halloween, for one final encore.

Do we? Do they?

Exiting the GEICO parking garage the first person he sees is a man pushing a shopping cart full of aluminum cans and other things.

Next thing he knows, he’s inside the Amway Center, center court.

He silently, and continuously prayed (like many of us do) for everyone he came in contact with.

And as he writes this, he wonders if homeless people silently pray for everyone they come in contact with.
