The department of know

That quote stopped me in my tracks yesterday.

The department of know.

The mystery of Faith.

You can’t know what you’ve never seen.

But you can know that Faith, Hope, and Love are three unequivocal human values.

You don’t need religion to convince you, simply use your instinct to imagine the opposites (or absence) of Faith, Hope, and Love.

Humanity doesn’t stand a chance with the opposites.

Running to something or from something?

florida pool owner
Did i mention there have been photo upload challenges since the website hosting platform migration recently? Of course i have. Optimistic for a resolution soon.

Regarding leaders (including our previous self) who are perceived with low integrity. You want to leave your company because of your negative perception of a leader?

Does quitting and moving on:

  • Does it change who you serve?
  • Does it change the way you serve them?
  • And does it make it harder to do those things?

Running away Leaving might be a sign of personal issues and blind spots.

Moving on just might be the most courageous decision of your entire career.

The challenge is this won’t become clear until later.

Son, my 2014 Disney departure (official retirement at 55) was six years in the making. It was the perfect move at the perfect time.

Ominous signs can be false positives

That is one big bird…probably a vulture. On our chimney. As i walked to the gym at 7am.

Ominous signs can be false positives.

Vultures are critical in our food chain.

How is a vulture bad karma?

Can we handle the truth?

1-10 written on a post-it note
On a 10 scale with 10 as high, how much truth do you want today?

Can we handle the truth?

In reality, nothing will help us move forward better than the truth.

Personal growth is transformationally facilitated through truth.

Why would we avoid personal growth?

Progress is the new caffeine

Lake McDonald at dawn
This view is from the motel room bed. Pure energy to wake up to this view.

Progress is the new caffeine.

Progress with your spirit.

Progress with your work.

Progress with your home organization.

Progress with your positive attitude.

Progress with your health.

It’s only impossible until you taste it the first time.
