McDonald Creek hike. One day before the 30-mile roundtrip bicycle trek, with 3,400′ elevation gain.

Going-to-the-Sun Road is to the right of the creek, out of sight behind the trees. This sunny and decently warm mid-May day didn’t prepare us for the biking weather.

In 10 days, we had a day, maybe two that were decently dry and warm. The eight-mile roundtrip hike along McDonald Creek was the best weather day.
