Spiritual mediocrity

Rainbow over a mountain
jody Maberry and i weren’t hiking to Granite Park. We were hiking to Ahearn.

Heaven is truth in a daily way. Hell is truth when you least expect it.

dad

Spiritual mediocrity flourishes if we never discover our purpose. Or, when we slowly get bored with our purpose and drift away, uncaringly.

What i owe the world

Two empty beer glasses on a table
Left the Wolfville hotel 4.5 hours before my flight. Why? To plan for the worst and hope for the best. Note: the best happened.

i owe the world the energy it gives me.

dad

From dust, to dust.

The universe has been around for billions of years, maybe more.

Billions.

Our life is so insignificant it’s not even funny.

As a person who has been alive for 6+ decades, i can definitely tell myself that in the blink of an eye, my life didn’t matter.

i can also tell myself my life did matter.

Hear me out.

The part that doesn’t matter is all of it.

The part that does matter is the effort i gave (give) to pay back the Universe for its gracious gift of the opportunity to spend a fraction of a second in its infinitely massive neighborhood.

Wandering and wondering in Nature is Magic.
Random (but recent) video test. None of the videos from the Nova Scotia trip are loading because the file sizes are too big and i have to investigate why. Going back a few weeks to see if a video would upload and this one did.

Go the extra inch.

dad

Going the extra mile is a flawed concept.

Note: There’s a time and place for it. It’s rare, and, you’ll intuitively know when to do it.

Everywhere you look

notes from an airplane seat
Leaning into discomfort by changing the order of the blueprint delivery. So exciting. Should be an epic leap in goodness. Moving the final blueprint to the first. The others stay as is. So the original third blueprint becomes the final one.
7-second video: Stunning arrival to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
road exit sign
Gaspereau Valley.
hotel hallway
Definitely intending to make myself at home. Can already tell that Cheryl should be on this trip. Taking the stairs to the third floor to Suite 302.
Hotel room door
Gaspereau Suite, probably named after the Gaspereau Valley.

Spring Grove, Pennsylvania is way smaller than Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

dad

Wolfville has a college.

Spring Grove has a grocery store since maybe 1990+-.

Spring Grove is definitely not a college town.
