  • Bloom where you are planted. Even if you unselfishly serve well only one other, you have served unselfishly. You serve well. 

Your spirit is surviving because you don’t want to do the hard, time-consuming work to transform from a selfish-mindset to a servant-mindset.

Disney creativity is like Church

  • Multiple parking spaces opened up as soon as we arrived. Until 3pm, it’s a cluster mess.

Applying everything Cheryl and i learned, did, and taught others during our combined 66-year Disney career, we flourish when faced with expected and unexpected challenges. 

It’s a spiritual experience using obvious and hidden gifts to make life feel vibrant.

In the absence of the printing press, Native Americans (and all world-wide tribes of humanity) use stories, symbols, icons, rituals, and, Nature to create their unique brand of “Church”.

Thousands of cars, three people

Reaching Piegan Pass. We are the only ones there. 
Apple Watch fitness screen in the mountains
Two and a half hours of casual pace got us to Piegan Pass. We budget 30-minutes per mile for any and every trail. 

It is glorious to hike alone in a vast wilderness. Scary at times too. But mostly glorious. 

Being so deep in the wilderness is an exceptionally vibrant opportunity. Every civilized convenience disappears. For brief moments you get a sense for how far humans have progressed from our primitive origins. 

PBJ never tastes as good as after hiking uphill for five continuous miles into the center of millions of acres of Grizzly Bear habitat. Can you imagine handing a PBJ sandwich to a Neanderthal?
