Do your undergarments embarrass you?

Returned shortly after the 10:00AM checkout time, hung some laundry to clean (with just air) and then ate “brunch”. 
Context for where the laundry line resides. Kitchen door is lower right edge. Merino wool only needs airflow to clean it. 

If you publicly hang out your personal values on a laundry line, will you be embarrassed by what others see?

In an insidiously obvious way, we all publicly hang our values – through our daily behaviors.

So grateful

The clouds lingered for hours and added to the show.

The list of things we are grateful for is endless. 

The beauty and the karma and spirit here is endless. 

So grateful for 5 days and 4 nights at Granite Park Chalet.

Do the best you can

Summited Mt. Oberlin (8,200’) on the way to the airport. Sleet began 3 minutes after this photo.
Arrived at summit 9:43AM.
Forced off the summit at 9:49AM.
While soaked, i remained warm. Being warm was the saving grace.
All six clothing layers were soaked. Drove 90 minutes to the airport in shorts while the layers dried.

Inspired living means what?

It’s likely you’ll get a different answer for every person you ask.

What does the question mean to you?

My answer has changed several times over six decades.

Why?

Because as we learn, we also unlearn.

There are wonderfully unnecessary things i used to worry about or try to achieve.

The key, from my experience, is to refine your target – the proverbial meaning of life.

For the past decade i am convinced the target is two-fold:

  1. To love and be loved
  2. Peace and contentment

We all have to decide for ourselves and let our actions prove (to ourselves) our conviction.

Advice?

Don’t settle. Search as long as it takes until you are certain. Be a noticer. Over-focus on life balance. Fall in love with your soulmate.

Remember, your meaning-of-life certainty will evolve through the years.

Open your dorm room door when you don’t need to concentrate.
