Winding river to the ocean — Water doesn’t take the quickest way (a shortcut), it takes the easiest way. It’s a human condition to seek the easiest way – easy and vibrant are generally mutually exclusive.

Will our spirit fade or can we protect it as we reach our final years?

It’s important to remember that many of us will not be aware we are in our final years.

Perhaps this realization isn’t crystal clear until we enter a Nursing home – a place from which you remain until you die.

i know you’re 101 year-old, bed-ridden body leaves you physically incapacitated, but my goodness, your mind – your mind is astonishing.

Can you help me, educate me, and encourage me to develop a deeper and wider wisdom about what it’s like to stare death in the face every day?

And through this and with this, help my 90-year old Father-in-Law fight a good fight every day.
