Forgiveness is a full-time job. There really isn’t room for situational forgiveness.

My goal in public speaking is to help others .think .differently

It is not to force change.

Change can only come from within. You must be committed to it or it will never happen.

Never as in never ever.

My job is to get people to a place where they do one of two things:

  1. Feel convicted that they are on the right path.
  2. Feel compelled to consider things they have never been exposed to before.

i forgave the Chief Relationship Officer for his direct confrontation. Additionally, i pray for him that whatever emotions he carries will be good, decent, and noble – and that it will bring him and those he loves and serves, joy.

Was going to delete the comment yesterday when i had a change of heart. Respecting diverse opinions should never be a theory, so i’m keeping the comment public.

Today is the third Sunday of Advent.

Rejoice when your world gets smaller

Two days ago, a reminder that health is wealth – we know this yet we don’t.

 

Our world gets smaller when God’s world (in our life) gets bigger.

About the only thing powerful enough to get our medicated, distracted, and entertained attention is a bring-you-to-your-knees wake up call.

To remember what it was like to be poorer, less educated, inexperienced, and uncertain is to now be able to appreciate how far God has come in our life.

Let what i need be small and insignificant.

Let what i can offer God be big and wonderfully significant.

That was like 2048 (2015 minus 33) years ago.

  • Consistency.
  • Time

And the secret sauce, love.
