Overfed and Undernourished was fascinating. A documentary.

 

The four-hour flight to Orlando seemed grueling before it started, but the seat-back video screens allowed us to freely watch a wide variety of entertainment. Overfed and Undernourished was captivating, and inspiring.

Jimmy Carter believes Jesus would approve of Gay Marriage.

Why?

Because Jimmy…”believes Jesus would encourage any love affair that was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else. And i don’t see that Gay marriage damages anyone else.”

There’s an outward hate aimed at our LBGT community.

And when i say hate, it is a blatant hatred, proliferated mainly through social media channels.

How hatred for someone else, for any reason, ever became part of the Bible is beyond my comprehension.

Most parents feel the same…

Dear Son, crazy how endless my love is for you. Even as i try to help you i can feel your aversion for parental guidance. Most teens do.

It’s common for teens to (stereotypically) rebel and avoid their parent(s).

At an unknown future time, you will look back and feel deep gratitude.

i wish it would happen sooner.

While we both wait, i will find solace in quiet moments with our creator.

Note: Our relationship is excellent. This post is referring in general terms to the journey required to create and maintain an excellent parent/child relationship.

By the way, task is what you are hired to do. Purpose is doing more than you are paid for because you cannot help yourself – because it brings you joy and it comes from the heart, and it is something you can not imagine giving up.
