Thank you Cheryl for all you do to make our home a happy, clean, organized, fun and loving place to live.
You are AMAZING!!!!
And thank you for initiating the search. How about the one on the far right?
Blessings are like pollen in springtime, with every breath, we unconsciously partake. It’s so easy to take blessings for granted, even though every breath we take is a reminder of them.
Thank you Cheryl.
Do you have daily rituals? Is watching the sun set one of them?
It used to be for me. A ritual, I mean.
Please don’t misunderstand, I still watch every sunset, but it no longer has the ritual of sitting outside, cold beer in hand, neighbors sitting next to me, and sometimes, like in this photo, Lab on lap.
Exactly one month ago, on Valentine’s Day morning, our beloved Canine Son, Carter, took his final breath, and that night, we watched a beautiful Florida sunset – with one less spectator.
Bet you miss special loved ones too.
With few exceptions, people are insanely busy and utterly overwhelmed with life. And even Lent isn’t enough to slow us down. Why?
People like you and I, will do two things with this reality:
Don’t believe this?
Then take this little test. Carve out 20-40 minutes to exercise. Carve out 20-40 minutes to read something that improves you. Carve out 20-40 minutes to spend with your loved ones. Carve out 20-40 minutes for self reflection and prayer.
Everyday.
Ok, now do you get it?
Then simply try this – carve out two minutes to pray, on your knees. Everyday.
Lent will be over before you know it.
What is Lent, really?
