Why Be Thankful?

Seriously?

Why be thankful?

Why not?

Why not be thankful? I mean, for everything.

Today, Good Friday, of all days, we have a great opportunity to be thankful.

In fact, maybe we could even try to look at everyday as Good Friday.

Perhaps these three men already do:

Christians Are So Unique, Not!

Do You Smell Something Burning?
Do You Smell Something Burning?

Christian are so unique, just like everyone else.

Not exactly what you were thinking? Me neither.

The reality is humans are the same no matter where we live.

Eyes, ears, mouth, nose, heart, brain, arms, legs, torso, etc.

Christians really aren’t unique at all.

Certainly no more unique than non-Christians, or any other religious demographic group.

Well, almost. There is one small, seemingly insignificant difference.

Something about a walk to Emmaus.

Too Complicated?

This Was For You
This Was For You

“One of the great dichotomies we face is that because our lives are so complicated, we don’t have time for ourselves. And at the same time, we often keep our lives so complicated, so we don’t have to address some of our inner issues.” — Living The Simple Life

Good Friday and Easter are almost here.

Are you ready?

Does it cross you mind all year long?

What if it did?

Modern Day Seven Sins

We Reap What We Sow
We Reap What We Sow

The seven Modern Sins, by C. Frederic Donaldson:

  1. Politics without principles
  2. Pleasures without conscience
  3. Wealth without work
  4. Knowledge without character
  5. Industry without morality
  6. Science without humanity
  7. Worship without sacrifice

Ignoring our human temptation is a slippery slope.

Carpe diem!
