Waiting at the one and two miles marks (20 feet apart) to call out splits, i saw Isaiah 30:15.

Thank you for choosing to accept and believe the reason you are running is because you want to, not because you think i want you to.

Thinking and believing with conviction is at the heart of a life with fewer regrets – and possibly at the end, zero regrets.

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

Carton of eggs — This hardly ever happens.

Long ago i began opening every egg carton i was about to put in the grocery cart. Someone recommended i do this to avoid purchasing broken eggs. Or maybe to ensure, in the event when unpacking groceries at home that any broken eggs had to have been my fault.

The longevity of the habit and the infrequent payoff has me wondering why i still do it.

Can old habits be put back together again so the new habits are better than the originals?

Yesterday was International World Peace Day 2016 and today is the Autumnal Equinox. One special day after the other.

Dear frustrations,

You test my patience (almost daily) as if your life depends on it. i credit you for taking your job seriously and exceptionally performing it.

What you don’t realize is your passion to break me is the fuel that makes me…

Patient.

Ps. And when i’m not patient, i’m grateful for recognizing it and i see it as a gift to dig deeper so it won’t happen again, or at the very least, won’t flare up for a long time.
