Good karma in the least likely place

He’s not wearing a shirt because he’s cold.

Good karma in the least likely place, the ATT Store on Daniels Road. Thank you Fred for validating tossing an iPhone 6 to the pool bottom, through the inspiring story of how your Grandmother gave you a blueprint for life.

PS. It was a very quick stop to get a new (and free) Sim card for an old iPhone 3GS. If the 15 year old is lucky, he’ll get this dinosaur of a phone for texting and email.

Hurricane Joaquin created huge waves.

The gift of freedom to learn your own spiritual lessons.

Know what you believe in and believe in it full and unconditionally.

It will keep your fire passion for life burning effectively.

Find a different spiritual lane

Florida homeowner swimming pool
Yesterday afternoon, iPhone 6 still on the pool bottom.

(If you are already vibrantly loving, you can skip this post.)

Find a different spiritual lane.

Follow one of the three large groups of people.

  1. Zealots
  2. Luke warm
  3. Non-believers

Or…

Find your own lane to create peace and contentment.

Peace with who you are.

Content with what you have.

Wake up calls are a gift, as painful as they are

Homeowner swimming pool
Teenager’s iPhone 6 at the bottom of the Family swimming pool.

Wake up calls are a gift if we choose to thrive instead of survive.

Most teens are struggling (like most adults) to find their way.

And in our pain, we look for (temporary) relief.

This is the root cause of addiction.

Tough love is called for.

With ourselves.

With the people we love.

The timing is often spontaneous.

Last night i threw our son’s iPhone 6 into the pool. The photo above was taken a few minutes ago; the morning after.

Dear Son, doubt like you mean it

protest billboard
Many people have a narrow view of a bigger picture.

Dear Son, doubt like you mean it. It will make you more convicted when you eventually land on what you believe in.
