Expect unexpected

Weather app screen shot
While writing, reading, and ordering a new phone/camera, temps dropped six degrees.

Strategically planned for a closer, lower elevation (warmer) hike closer to a noon start.

Why?

A 34-degree overnight low. Then subtract 5-10 degrees for the mountain pass’s high elevation.

Then add the competitive tension to arrive super early (before sunrise) to (hopefully) ensure a parking spot.

Twenty-eight degrees is unexpected. Grateful our plan alleviates any additional concern.

Got Church?

Three adults sitting by mountain creek
Our snack break five miles out also served as our turnaround location.

When i say every step can be Church, it’s only possible when you are present, mindful, and motivated (to serve).

Ps. You can reach a place where your habits always make it possible.

Giving facilitates receiving

We never mention our combined 66 Disney years of Service. But Mickey “team gear” is part of who we are. Ps. i get it, i had to mention it to share that we never mention it. Lol

Avery created a Magical Moment for us. Totally unexpected. Delightful. Memorable. Ps. More Mickey team gear.

Freely giving kindness (especially without expectation) increases your chances for receiving kindness. The opposite is also true. Pay attention to the present moment. It is there you send your energy signals out to the Universe.

Habits drive lifestyle

Our group hike morphed into a solo hike. It was cool to continue further into the wilderness. We are deep in the backcountry.

Spiritual priorities drive decisions and decisions drive spiritual habits.
