Allergic to cold, spirit

Apple Watch fitness app in mountains
Two hours after leaving hotel, we are ready to start our Oberlin saddle hike.

We got a half-mile in and light rain began. There was zero rain expected.

Rule #1 for Mountain weather is anything can happen at anytime.

Because of the cold and wind-chill, i easily decided/agreed to return to our car and wait it out.

The clouds never gave us hope for clearing.

We drove back down to 3,200’ and dry skies.

Wait, you’re still in Glacier?, spirit

Just trying to combine the place with the ritual.

You know who proposed the ritual of waiting for the Mountain Ash berries to turn Jammer Bus red?

Guess.

Still in Glacier, spirit

Lincoln Peak. Lincoln Pass slopes to the left. This is the trail to nearby Sperry Chalet.

With each passing day, we feel more like we live here.

And if we had to drive a fair distance from a/our house simply to reach Glacier’s West entrance, it would create a time and effort imbalance.

We have intentionally stayed inside Glacier to minimize daily roundtrip travel.

Minimal daily travel is really the key to the Glacier spirit and vibe.

In Glacier without a printer. This app made a printer unnecessary.

Weird how your spirit soars when your client signs the contract.

This mountain profile is extraordinary in person.
16-second video: Real life in real time.

What i love about my blogs that is counter to dogma is this:

  1. They’re prolific. Few (perhaps none) have the stamina (nor the motivation and purpose) to write prolifically.
  2. There’s no sales pitch. Zero. Unprecedented, eh?
  3. No ability to socially share.
  4. No ability to comment.
  5. No sales funnel or lead magnet. You know, enter your email and get the top 10 secrets for fill-in-the-blank.
  6. No promotion of my blogs in my keynote speaking, to over-one-million people, since 2009.
