Where’s Jesus?

The Best Example Is Across The Table
The Best Example Is Across The Table

Just replied to a friend’s email, declining an invitation to a men’s group Saturday night get-together.

You know, it’s difficult to say no. What happens when we say no too often?

People stop asking us.

Unless.

Unless?

Yes, unless we have so much passion that it’s no longer ignorable.

I challenged Duane to spend just five minutes reading www.jeffnoel.org

And told him that when our son (9) goes looking for Jesus, he shouldn’t have to look any farther than across the dining room table.

Ya with me?

Amazing Grace You Tube

How many days each week do you spend carving out a few minutes, or more, for yourself?

You know, to think, or to pray, or plan.

If you are focused, disciplined and grounded in common sense, then you already do this a lot. If you are not yet living up to your potential to carve out time for yourself, I’m challenging you right here and now.

And, to offer an easy compromise, only listen to the first 30 seconds. That’s more than enough to reach your heart, your spirit. And it may be enough to sustain you until tomorrow.

PS. Tried like a dozen times to get the You Tube video frame to fit in the column.
