A Disney blessing is having the privilege, the honor, the responsibility – to uphold the highest standards set by Walt Disney himself.

All day.

Every day.

Day after day.

For an entire career.

A Disney blessing is having a lifetime Park Pass and living less than a mile from Walt Disney World.

A Disney blessing is having a fellow retired Disney Institute colleague (Carol) text you a photo of a note she kept for nearly 15 years – the one where you took a moment to write something heartfelt. The note that didn’t require a fancy Hallmark Card with a prescribed retirement sentiment.

Laidback Summer

Resting patiently while four new tires are installed on a 20-year old car. With an online appointment and a confirmation phone call initiated from the shop a day later, it still took 2.5 hours. Laidback means not getting excited about things that seem over-promised and under-delivered. Life is good. #PrayForUkraine

Laidback Summer.

After two years of Covid, heavy down-turn in business, and consistent anxiety about a microscopic health threat – not to mention WW3 – if this is my last Summer, may it be one that has never been experienced before.

Ok, sounds like a plan.
