So beautiful on the first 400 meters of flat, wide trail.
We are about to round a corner and i wasn’t sure if i’d have the courage to continue.
It’s a big place, far from any hospital.
It’s even scarier in real life.
A narrow trail is not a big deal on the ground, but move it up several hundred or a thousand feet and it can potential paralyze you with fear.

Sure, notice the clouds, and sometimes messages are at our feet.
Real life in real time. No staging. Ever.
Straight ahead is the main north Cast Member entrance for Walt Disney World.
So weird…Safety, right? And just a few hours ago the worst massacre in US history.
Notice. Be intentional. It’s such a gift.
Forgive yourself and then prove it.
Second chances are constantly in front of us.
We rarely see them because they are so prolific.
When was the last time you spent three days in a row doing these four things:
Begin the day on your knees
Watch the sun rise
Stare at the clouds for at least two minutes without distraction
Watch the sun set
Those four are tip of the demonstrable behaviors iceberg.
PS. Can you imagine doing those four things every day for the rest of your life?

This time i was quick enough with my phone to get the photo (also yesterday) of the TV screen. i had resisted admitting i was impatient.
Praying for patience, like a broken record.
Perhaps as treacherous as cancer, yet hardly ever thought of in this way, is the insidious habit of being impatient.
Impatience is a silent killer of our spirt.
The cure, as obvious as it sounds, is patience.
Period.

Did you know that Walt Disney’s original plan was to use 16 acres at the Disney Studios to create a sort of year-round carnival attraction?
The city council never approved the request.
Walt could have abandoned the idea, or he could have kept going.
He kept going and that led to 160 acres in Anaheim, what we now call Disneyland.
What he originally thought was plenty of land (ten times more than his first thought of using 16), also became far too little to hold all his ideas and dreams.
But he didn’t know what he didn’t know.
He became land-locked in Anaheim as all the available land got taken. This was unfortunate because Walt kept dreaming.
Walt could have accepted reality and stopped with Disneyland. It was, by all accounts, insanely popular with the American people. But no.
He quietly began purchasing 27,443 acres near Orlando.
