The paradox of spontaneity and bliss

Halloween candy
Yesterday. Marketers are very intentional with color, timing, placement, etc. The harsh reality, they are selling sugar and corn syrup.

When everything we do becomes intentional we have arrived at a place of bliss.

Critics will ask, “What about spontaneity?”

The paradox with spontaneity is the harsh reality that it requires planning to be blissful.

If we intentionally manage our time, our joy, and our gratitude, freedom is literally in every breath we take. As is spontaneity.

Our other fail safe option is to indulge in mind altering, often addicting, substances/habits. Otherwise known as empty bliss.

Not far from The Holy Land Experience

Universal Studios expansion
Universal Studios a couple days ago driving home from the Apple Store.

Universal Studios expansion
Universal Studios: counted nine construction cranes total. Two are missing in this photo.

Not far from The Holy Land Experience is Universal Studios. The Holy Land Experience is a minute from the Apple Store. The Family that owns the tourist attraction will soon become our neighbor two lots down.

Why share that?

Not sure really. Probably has something to do with it being a small world after all.

Church, school, and Disney within walking distance?

Tattoo and Disneyland handbag
Yesterday while on a High School tour.

Thinking about a new Church.

Why even think about leaving Holy Family Catholic Church?

It’s 20 minutes each way. Been doing that once or twice a week for 16 years.

What if our Church (choice between Baptist or non-denominational) was next to our subdivision, or between home and High School?

Those are two options i want to explore.
